POLICE REPORT: Overall, the crime is down in the Avenues. There was 1 aggravated assault. The suspect knew the victim and he came on the porch and began stabbing him. Drugs are suspected. There were 5 stolen vehicles. All recovered. One had the keys in it. The Police have information on a suspect who may have been stealing cars in the Avenues. The 4th and 5th were not thefts, but repossessions. There were 8 burglaries in the Avenues. In one, the owner worked downstairs while it happened. One was a stolen cat that an ex-roommate took. One involved a rock, which was thrown through the window, and many CD's were taken. The owner went to a Pawn Shop that sells CD's and found the CD's.
