The
Greater Avenues Community Council monthly newsletter - did you know it even has
a name? It's called The Agenda, and it is mailed free to all residences
in the Avenues every month. For more information about GACC, please call GACC
Chair Wayne Green, 521-7917.
The GACC Board meets
the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Sweet Library, 9th Avenue
and F Street. The main purpose of the Board Meeting is to set the agenda for the
following month's Community Council general meeting, and to approve the content
of the next month's newsletter.
If you wish to address
the community at a GACC meeting, you will need to attend a GACC Board meeting
first. Call GACC Board Chair Michael Hughes to arrange to attend the next Board
meeting. All GACC agenda items must be approved by the Board in advance.
