The 2009 AVENUES STREET FAIR
Saturday, September 12th
9th Avenue between D and I Streets
in The Avenues of Salt Lake City
9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
ENTERTAINMENT- The Avenues Street Fair will have two stages, one at each end of the Fair, for non-stop live entertainment during the day! All entertainment will be juried for appropriateness, with a variety of music and entertainment throughout the day of the Fair, including jazz, rock, bluegrass, Celtic, folk, classical and other types of performers.
To apply to be an entertainer: Call Jill Van Langeveld at 801-359-8513, or email jill.van@hotmail.com.
BOOTHS - Over 200 booths will be featured at this year's Fair, including food vendors, non-profits, and artisans. All booths will be juried for appropriateness. We allow approximately 10% of our booths to be local non-profit organizations, and we jury all vendor booths to acheive a variety of artistic style and to achieve the "look and feel" of the Street Fair that our committee wants to portray to the community. Preference is given to local artists with hand-made items. We try to avoid vendors of mass-produced commercial items or yard sale type booths.
